Fade To Black was born of a legacy and deep connection to Australian opals. All stones are ethically sourced from Lightning Ridge and Queensland, with production overseen by founder Tatiana’s father, Mario Ikasovic — a world-renowned gem cutter with over 40 years of masterful expertise. Polishing, cutting, and setting is all done in-house, guaranteeing complete control over the quality of each piece.

Tatiana grew up between worlds — the daughter of one of the industry’s foremost opal cutters, she spent her childhood moving between Sydney, New York, and the mining fields of Lightning Ridge. After studying film in NYC, she returned to her roots with a new perspective. Fade To Black pairs her father’s four decades of gemstone mastery with her own eye for minimal, modern design. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
Each piece is handcrafted with materials made to last: natural Australian opals, fair-mined diamonds, conflict-free gemstones, and solid 14k and 18k gold. We source as close to the earth as possible, cutting out middlemen to keep prices fair while maintaining the highest quality.
