Domestic Shipping

At Fade to Black Jewelry, we're committed to delivering your handcrafted pieces quickly and securely. All orders are carefully packaged to ensure your jewelry arrives in perfect condition.

Standard US Shipping (3-5 Business Days)

  • Free on all orders using USPS Priority or UPS 2 day shipping
  • Includes tracking information via email

Overnight US Shipping

  • Orders must be placed before 1pm EST for next-day delivery
  • Not available for PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses

All orders are processed and shipped from our studio within 1-2 business days. Made-to-order and customized pieces may require additional production time, which will be noted at checkout. 

If you require expedited shipping, please email us at admin@fadetoblackjewelry.com and we will calculate shipping costs using FEDEX.

International Shipping

We're pleased to ship Fade to Black Jewelry worldwide, bringing our distinctive designs to customers across the globe.

International Standard (7-14 Business Days)

  • $30 flat rate for orders 
  • Includes tracking information via email

International Express (3-5 Business Days)

  • $45 flat rate
  • Full tracking included

Please note that international customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees that may be imposed by their country's regulations. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Ordering Information

When your order is placed you will be assigned an email confirming your order. When your email is fulfilled, you will receive an email confirming your order is on its way along with a tracking number.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Fade to Black Jewelry purchase. If for any reason you're not, we offer a straightforward returns process.

Return Policy

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery
  • Item must be in original, unworn condition with all packaging and documentation
  • Sale items and custom pieces are final sale and cannot be returned
  • Gift recipients receive store credit for the value of the item

How to Return

  1. Request a Return: Email admin@fadetoblackjewelry.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Receive Return Authorization: We'll email you a return authorization and prepaid shipping label within 1-3 business days
  3. Package Your Return: Securely package the item in its original box if possible
  4. Ship Your Return: Attach the prepaid label and drop off at any postal location
  5. Refund Processing: Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days

Exchanges

We're happy to exchange items for a different size or style within 7 days of delivery.

  • Contact customer service at admin@fadetoblackjewelry.com to initiate an exchange
  • Specify the item you wish to exchange and your preferred replacement
  • We'll provide a prepaid return label and process your new item as soon as the original is received

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or if we've sent an incorrect piece:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the damaged item or packaging
  • We'll expedite a replacement at no additional cost
  • A prepaid return label will be provided for the damaged/incorrect item

 

Gift Orders

  • Gift orders include a complimentary gift box and can be shipped with a personalized message
  • Gift receipts do not show pricing information
  • The gift recipient can exchange items following our standard exchange policy

Ring sizing

You can get your fingers sized at a local jeweler and any ring can be re-sized to your measurements for a $50 additional fee. Please email the studio with any questions regarding sizing information. Alternatively, find your ring size on this website here.

Sustainable practices

All Opals and gemstones used in FADE TO BLACK opals are ethically sourced and mined. We work with renowned craftsmen in the gem industry that are members of AGTA and GIA associations. FADE TO BLACK is in compliance with environmentally friendly standards when sourcing our materials and working with suppliers. Every piece is handmade in either our Sydney studio, or in Los Angeles, CA. All production is monitored carefully and FADE TO BLACK supports fair trade practices for its workers.
